First, you need to create a free CourtReserve account.
You can create one in your browser here.
You can also download the CourtReserve App [download in App Store | download in Google Play] to your mobile device.
You’ll select "I'm a player" and search for "Catamount Pickleball" in the database of clubs to create a free account.
Through CourtReserve, you will be able to:
View our calendar of upcoming events
Book a court
Sign up for Open Play session, clinics, and events
Manage your accountWhen reserving a court, you must add others using "find additional players" (not "add guests") to the reservation. As long as the other players have accounts set up in CourtReserve, have chosen Catamount Pickleball as their club, and accepted our liability waiver, then the software will find them in the system and allow you to add them to your reservation.
-
Yes, this is how you reserve your private court or Open Play sessions and how we capture liability waivers and billing information.
Everyone playing on a court at Catamount Pickleball must have:
An account in CourtReserve
Accepted our liability waivers and terms & conditions
Entered their billing informationThere will be no exceptions to this policy. Catamount Pickleball will not be responsible for lost playing time if players show up without an account in CourtReserve. There will be a computer kiosk available on-site for players to set up an account upon arrival if they need to.
-
It is a lot easier if you do. CourtReserve is fully PCI compliant and secure.
However, if you do not have a credit or debit card, you may make a deposit to your CourtReserve account via cash or check. The minimum amount is $100.
Please contact us at info@catamountpickleball.com for assistance.
-
We do not recommend this. There is a good chance that the courts will all be in use and all of the Open Play spots filled. Booking an Open Play session, event, or reserving a court in CourtReserve is the easiest and most convenient way to ensure that you will get your time on the courts when you want it.
-
Begin by creating a CourtReserve account, adding your form of payment, then selecting the membership option.
-
Exclusive member benefits include:
8 days advanced booking and holding of up to 7 private court reservations at a time.
Discounted pricing on all offerings including Open Play sessions, private court rentals, lessons, retail items, and special events.
Early sign up access to Open Play sessions, lessons, clinics, and special events.
Ability to see who else is signed up for Open Play sessions.
Invitations to members only events.
As a Member you can BOOK MORE IN ADVANCE, and PAY LESS than non-members.
-
We do not have a specific family membership at this time. However as a service to families, minors pay the lowest Member rates when included in reservations.
-
For the most part, yes. But we don’t have much to offer kids under the age of 15. Please see our Rules and Terms of Service (Section 4.6) for details on our policies regarding minors at the facility.
-
To add a dependent minor to your CourtReserve account, select the “My Family” tab under your account dropdown menu and select “Minor” as the membership type. This will create an attached account for the dependent minor. The Parent/Guardian making the reservation is responsible for accepting the liability waiver, rules, and terms of service on behalf of the minor, and paying their fees if there is not billing information entered for the dependent.
-
You do not need to be a member to play at Catamount Pickleball. Non-members (guests) are welcome at any time when space is available, at the non-member rate. In order for a non-member (guest) to play at our facility, they must first create a CourtReserve account and register in the same play session. Non-members may book Open Play sessions, lessons, clinics, and special events 72 hours in advance and hold 3 reservations at a time.
-
Any shoe that is dry, not used outdoors, and does not have a black sole is usable on our courts. We strongly recommend a dedicated court shoe that provides ankle support for the best playing experience and reducing the chance of injury. Inappropriate or dangerous footwear will not be allowed such as sandals, slippers, cleats, flip-flops, crocs, socks/barefoot, boots, heels, or anything else that could damage your feet or the court surface.
Note: You will be asked to remove whatever shoes you wear into the club, especially during the winter months. We have benches to change footwear and lockers for coats and boots.
-
Showers are available in a neighboring Fitness Club in our building. A low cost membership is required there.
-
Open Play sessions are designed for you to experience various levels of pickleball without needing to organize your own play time. Anyone within the posted skill range can join, and your club skill rating will change depending on your performance within the group. Open Play sessions vary in structure with teams moving up/down and/or splitting partners, and games end after 11 minutes to ensure rotation/mixing of players.
-
Catamount Pickleball is an official DUPR rating facility, and our CourtReserve system is integrated with DUPR such that it will import your rating into your profile if you have one. We use DUPR ratings to group players of similar ability into Open Play sessions and events. It is more fun and rewarding to play with others that are about the same ability, unless it is a lesson or clinic.
When you join our club initially, and you don’t have a DUPR rating, you will be prompted to provide a self rating which we will use to place you in a skill category. Depending on your performance in the Open Play sessions, your rating will change and the level of groups available will update to match. We will not be allowing players with a +/- greater than 0.5 to join a specific Open Play session (that means 3.0’s and 4.5’s cannot join a 3.5 - 4.0 session). We will give people plenty of time to become familiar with this system if they have not experienced it before.
We will also be offering official DUPR Rating Open Play sessions so you can confirm what your rating is, and increase it as well! Please be aware you will need to create an account with DUPR before you can sign up for DUPR Rating Open Play Sessions.
-
Please check out the USA Pickleball ratings page to determine your rating before signing up for a few of the sessions at the skill level you think you belong, and see how you do! If you need to adjust to a higher or lower rating group, then we encourage you to do so. It's not always easy to self-assess, but please be aware of how you're doing in these sessions and adjust accordingly.
-
Please email us at info@catamountpickleball.com and provide more information about what you would like to request (day, time, and skill level) along with names of players who would be interested in signing up for this session. We will attempt to accommodate as best we can but we may not be able to due to limited available court time.
-
The lesson court is a normal sized pickleball court with narrower sideline margins. It is primarily used for certain lessons, ball machine rentals, and beginner sessions. The Lesson Court (Court 7) can also be booked for private court time when available.
-
We will have healthy snacks and drinks available for purchase, and Kestrel Coffee is down the hall inside our building with a seating area. We ask that food and beverages (other than water and sport drinks) be kept away from the playing areas to avoid spills and cleanups.
And please, no glass containers in the facility as well.
-
Currently gift cards are not available. However, please contact us and we can set up a payment for gift memberships, pickleball gear, or any other non-reservation purchase for another player.
-
We have a limited number of loaner and demo paddles & balls for purchase if players do not have their own.
-
Yes! We have an Erne Ball Machine for rent. It's a popular way to drill and refine skills. Click here to book a ball machine session and check it out! (Link also found in the Reservations drop down menu)
